Against Catastrophe’s latest dispatch, the second installation of “Reclaiming Futures”, Planetary Urbanisms has just been launched! I am proud to have contributed an essay to the online exhibition reflecting on the multiple scales of planetary urban futures, the totalizing power of design visions and life’s capacity to exceed them.

My essay “Seeing Through the Scales of Planetary Urban Futures” is in conversation with essays by Gökçe Günel, Orit Halpern and Olamide Udoma-Ejorh as well as Michaela Büsse’s short film on Forest City “Overcast” and Dele Adeyemo’s two films on the interlinkages between Lagos and the Niger Delta. This dispatch is co-commissioned by Nadia Christidi and Özgün Eylül İsçen and illustrated by Tal Halpern.
